A golf tee takes a hit. Ours is designed around it. Two materials work together: a flexible top that moves with impact, and a hard base that goes into the ground with ease.
The TPU upper flexes on impact. The rigid plastic lower gives you a firm point for easy placement in the ground.
Every component is 3D printed. The layers are part of the story.

A considered approach to golf.
We’re three 16-year-olds building Breakaway Golf around a simple idea: a tee should be designed to handle the hit.
Our approach brings together 3D printing, a flexible TPU upper, and a rigid plastic base. The breakaway connection is at the heart of it all.
We’re at the beginning of building our brand. This is our first chapter.

Breakaway combines a flexible TPU top with a rigid plastic base. On a hard enough hit, the top can separate from the bottom to help protect the tee.
Yes. Both the flexible top and the hard plastic bottom are 3D printed. Each material has a different job: flex above the ground and rigidity below it.
A flexible tee can be difficult to push into the ground. The rigid lower section gives you a firm, pointed base for easier placement.
The connection is designed to release under a hard enough impact. Separating the two pieces helps protect the tee from the force of the hit.
